We will assist you in the recording of Your Story and help to match imagery so Your Story can come to life to be played at your funeral service at a future date. We believe that all lives should be celebrated and it is our honour to help you bring yours to life for your final chapter.

Eulogy is defined as "a speech or piece of writing that praises someone or something highly, especially a tribute to someone who has just died."

A eulogy is traditionally prepared by the family of a loved one after their passing. At Your Story we work with you before this time to enable you to write and create your own eulogy which will be played on your behalf at a later date. You may just wish to be super organised and have this in place for a future date, or you may have a terminal illness which is motivating you to have this prepared. Our service provides you with creative freedom to tell Your Story in your own way.

The Story of Your Story - Our Story

In 2020 my mum was diagnosed with her third cancer in thirty years. Unfortunately this cancer was terminal and she passed in early 2022. It was my mum who suggested the idea of recording her own eulogy. She wanted to tell her story, in her own words, so that is what we set out to do. Her story was delivered at her service and it was beautiful, funny and inspired all who were in attendance.

Mum and I were unable to find anyone to provide this voice recording and editing service when we needed it. I sourced the professionals in each of their separate fields and pulled everything together so that my mum got exactly what she wanted.

And so Your Story was born. A creation out of necessity is now a service that is available to assist others, wanting to do things their way.
